Blog Entry 02

The Allegory of the cave is is basically an imagined scenario

narrated by Plato during his time. The main idea of this

scenario is that what human beings thinks as reality in this

world isn't the real truth. There is always a truth hidden in the

shadows of walls. In this scenario some people are imagined

to be chained up in such a way that they can't move their

heads. They are seat to see a projector like a wall size. The

shadows are so close that they take them as real.If one of the

prisoner gets chance to get out from this chained world and is

held to face the sunlight then, he will be thinking that this is

the source of all the things. For the reflections, for the years to

come and pass away.If this prisoner goes back to his fellow

mates and describes what he saw, then they will be thinking

him as crazy because for them the reality is with in the

boundaries. If you are locked in a room from reality all you

know are the things you can see and what is around you but

there  are things beyond the room. When you start asking

questions you get more curious and want to know and that’s

when you will escape the chains and will look beyond the

walls. There will be new experiences in life where you are

chained but it is your decision if you want to leave that closed

 in reality.
